Dear Friends,
Welcome to Frank's Chess Academy. It is my vision to bring Chess to as many people as I possibly can through sharing my love for the game. I started playing tournaments in 1969, and of course became a follower of the Bobby Fischer rise to World Champion. The game captivated me and I knew then that Chess would always play an important role in my life. Having been a part-time Instructor and Tournament Director for over twenty years, in 2009 I decided to pursue my dream and make Chess Instruction and Tournament Directing my career. In the summer of 2012 I opened Frank's Chess Academy, and was lucky enough to find a great location in my hometown of Leonia.
I offer private and semi-private lessons, daytime adult lessons (senior discount), and during school programs on site at your learning institution.
